My first encounter with paintball was in July 2009. I went with my next-door neighbor, Johan S aka 'Illern,' to a Walkon game at AC Paintball. I rented a mask and one of their Tippmann 98s to play with.
I played the first game and since then I have not looked back. I was hooked, deep down. After that first game, I went to every Walkon at AC, every week. I got to know the home team and I am now an full member of BFP.
My fist Big Game in Sweden was “Weekend War 7” at Bockaby in October 2010. Bockaby is a MOUT-type site used by Swedish firemen to train. There are dozens of buildings and it was an amazing game!
The time passed and paintball became a part of my everyday life. In Mars 2011, I bought my fist marker, and what a marker! I went with what my team was using and purchased the Swedish-made Regency Crome 2. What a difference going from the Tippmann 98 to one of the smoothest, most silent markers out there!
In June 2011, I went to what I know call my first “real” big game. The Euro Big Game in Falkenhagen, Germany. It was my best paintball experience yet.
Until recently, I had only seen the recball side of paintball. During the winter of 2011, we decided to sign up for a 3-man reball cup in Sweden and that was my first time on a speedball field. We ended up taking second place without ever having played on a speedball field before.
In 2012, I continued playing at AC, which became the first field and driving force behind the Ultimate Woodsball League in Sweden. In the final round, we nearly upset the Ignition Old School and took home 2nd place. I also attend my second Euro Big Game, this time in Mahlwinkel, Germany.
Now in 2013 I´m at AC Paintball almost every weekend and doing all I can to keep the field one of the best in the country. I have planed in my 3rd trip to the Euro Big Game in Germany and BFP is planning to attend at the Swedish SM speedball tournament here in Sweden. I look forward to using my Contour to film and share my experiences with you all and I hope you enjoy the videos!
See you on the field!
